Humanism in Legal Academia

The Faculty Division of the Humanist Legal Society brings together law professors concerned about the state of law and public policy. Seeing humanistic values as consistent with sound jurisprudence and policymaking, the Faculty Division seeks to encourage intelligent discussion and robust debate that reaches far beyond the walls of academia. Professors in the Faculty Division are encouraged to network among themselves and to interact with the members of the Student Division and Lawyers Division to facilitate formal and informal events that will allow such discussions and debates to occur.
